Originally established as a commercial arm of the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce (GACIC) on the eve of the new millennium, GIC Ltd. became fully private in 2007, owning and operating the multi-storey GIC Tower in Cairo and acting as a competent and trustful partner for companies and entities from Germany, the European Union, Egypt, GCC, the wider MENA-Region and Africa.

GIC is owned and managed by Egyptian and German partners of varied professional backgrounds (engineers, economists, advocates), each of whom – assisted by a highly qualified multinational executive team - contributes by high skills and know-how, longstanding experience and a highly developed network up to the top-decisionmakers to its success and the success of its partners and clients.

In prospective core business fields GIC has also entered as a shareholder and member of the Board of several companies, espeically in the construction, cement and renewable energy sector.
